Homemade Frugal And Easy All Purpose Cleaner.

Looking for a simple way to make an all purpose cleaner for your home?  Tired of spending your hard earned cash on expensive cleaning products?  Then let us show you a quick and easy way to make your own all purpose cleaner with products you may already have in your home.  Once complete you will have a great cleaning solution for a fraction of the cost of off the shelf products.

1. Gather The Ingredients

In order to make the all purpose cleaner you will need to the following items.

Borax  2 Teaspoons

Dishwasher Detergent  1 Teaspoon

White Vinegar  1/4th Cup

Warm Water  2 Cups.

A Spray Bottle 

2. Mix The Borax And White Vinegar

In a clean spray bottle add 2 teaspoons of borax along with 1/4th a Cup of white vinegar and gently swirl the bottle allowing the borax to dissolve.

3. Add 2 cups of warm water

If possible try to use filtered or distilled water for this step in order to reduce the amount of impurities that you would normally find in general tap water.  Once you have added the water shake the bottle thoroughly to ensure proper mixing.

4. Add 1 teaspoon of liquid Dishwasher Detergent

Add in 1 teaspoon of liquid dish soap and then gently shake in order to mix.  Be sure not to shake too hard as you don’t want to create excess bubbles from the added soap.

5. Add coloring and essential oils.

Not a required step however many people will want their cleaner to also look and smell nice.  If this is the case don’t be afraid to add a drop or two of food coloring and several drops of essential oil to enhance the look and smell of the finished product.

*Before use be sure to try out the solution on a small test area first.  It is also recommended that you do not use this solution on any marble surfaces.
